It was quite a nightmare, although it has already been a habit of Lenora. Locking the wooden old front door, she went to her garden, her little paradise. It was a small piece of land, it was a colorful picture hanging on a wall, there was weeds everywhere, yet there was roses and lilies, it was a carefully painted picture, filled with everything she loved. There was velvet roses, Cloudy gray lilies, violet colored hydrangeas, rainbows of wildflowers across the place, the beautiful plants stand out among the never ending wild flowers. And in the center, was a willow tree, an old, old tree. It was gigantic, something from a fairy tale, it was the listener for the generations of lonely people, it was the giant that provided shelter, it was the spotlight of the garden, and now, it was Lenora's friend.

Lenora slowly advanced towards her tree, this was her garden , a place she would be herself, a place she lets go of all shackles and binds, a paradise she cherished, and it was the sanctuary for her gentle heart. She was early, so she sat down against her giant willow friend and flipped open her book, and wandered off into her own world of imagination. Lenora was immersed in this world of reading, she gave herself in to the endless turning of pages, she was in her little own space where nothing could separate her attention. That was how devoted Nora was to her books. She was conveying the story to the plants and spirits surrounding her, the spirits and flowers were gathering to enjoy their story time told by their friend and sister. The subtle breeze of the wind brought along a faint smell of petrichor.

Page after page, the soothing sound of page turning, the rustle of the wild flowers being blown by the wind spirits, the gentle leaves of the willow swaying as though waving hello, the soft song of the birds that sing quietly knowing Lenora was story telling, and the hardly ever sounding woosh from the cars, there wasn't anything unpleasant, yet it was only for a short eternity, in conflict yet in peace, Lenora would soon finish, and it was time for school.

Time was fast, it was unforgiving, it was impatient, it was waiting for a long time, yet it is unfair, it is the element that pushes, it is the very being of flow. ' Time for school' , murmured Lenora.

Chapter 1

Rosary Sunset

CHAPTER 1 :  Unbind.

Lenora woke up, in a partially-unconscious state, it took sometime before she realized she was inside an unknown room, in an unknown place, with an unknown scent of roses, wilted roses. Everything around her was unfamiliar, the cold sunlight piercing in from the creak of the wood-nailed window, the nasty smell of vomit seeping in through below the door, she frantically regained her consciousness, she looked around , she did not dare to move, but was continuously shivering , trembling from the wildest of imaginations of what would happen. The gods were laughing instead, they were surprised by the success of their experiment that had already succeeded without even starting. It was an experiment to test their creation, their pet, the fragility, the strength , the fear, they are sadistic villains, the real enemies of stupid humans.

She reached her hands into the darkness around her, trying to locate herself , to understand where she is, but her mind is lost in the dark, her mind is flying everywhere blindly, almost on the verge of but not tears , but going insane, she grabs one thing, it felt hard, like, a bone.

Throwing it away, it hit the wall and made a sharp sound. Lenora, trembling, crawled through the slimy mucus covered floor. She was struggling, and the music was playing, Lenora was dancing the ballad of  terror, and the gods enjoyed that. They were immersed in the joy of Lenora's pain.
' How Cruel. '

As she was almost insane while dancing, the door flew open, she shrieked and screamed and burst to the corner on all fours. A figure stood between the light shining in, a shadow of someone very, very familiar. 'DONT COME NEAR ME I DONT WANT TO DIE PLEASE DONT'

A somewhat warm feeling overwhelmed the room, the dark figure turned the lights on. Nora, its about time for breakfast. We have sunny-side up eggs today, coffee or tea?

she did not reply, the warm light shone upon her glistening teary eyes. She stood still, rubbed her eyes with her hands and with a pink face, said breakfast will have to wait. Alright, I will leave them in the microwave, heat them up when you are hungry, okay?

Lenora went to the bathroom, she washed her face, brushed her teeth, changed clothes. Looking at the mirror, she calmed down, she knew she has to stop this. Slowly taking one step after another, she went downstairs and sat on the rectangular wooden dining table, one that only can accompany 4 people at once, one that was around since she was born, on the table , was a plate, and on the plate was eggs, sunny-side up eggs, baked beans and a sausage.

The sweet smell of  jasmine tea flew through the air of the dining room. Lenora sat down, with slightly shivering hands, she slowly ate her breakfast. Piece by piece, she swallowed, her mind was still troubled by what happened earlier. She came to a conclusion, she wanted to be herself, Lenora shook her head to clear out her thoughts. She finished breakfast, washed her dishes and went to school.
